Lisa Edwards

Lisa is an experienced physiotherapist with over 10 years working across a range of paediatric community and tertiary hospital settings, including The Royal Children’s and Monash Children’s hospitals. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland and has completed further postgraduate study through the University of Melbourne. Lisa is currently a senior physiotherapist with the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service at The Royal Children’s Hospital.

Lisa has extensive experience working with infants and children with Cerebral Palsy, Acquired Brain Injury and other neurological conditions, including those related to preterm birth. She is particularly passionate about the early detection of movement difficulties and access to early intervention supports, having worked as a research physiotherapist in this field.

Lisa works alongside families in home, school, and community settings, using family-centred and play-based approaches to ensure therapy is practical, meaningful and fun. As a mum of two young children, Lisa understands the realities of family life and works closely with families to embed therapy into daily activities and routines. Lisa is passionate about empowering families through education, helping to build knowledge and confidence to support the achievement of individual goals.
